Dustora is built to work on your device. This page explains the little that is sent to our server and why.

What stays on your device

Your photos, videos, contacts, files and the results of every scan are read and processed on your Mac or iPhone only. They are never uploaded to us. Backups of contacts and the Private Vault stay in the app’s own storage on your device.

What our server receives

To check for maintenance and updates, manage your subscription and limit a subscription to one device at a time, Dustora sends:

• an anonymous account ID, created the first time you open the app;
• your device name and model, the operating system and app version;
• your country, taken from your region setting;
• your subscription status and the store you bought through;
• your email address, only if you choose to sign in;
• basic usage events, such as opening the app or viewing the upgrade screen. These never include anything from your photos, contacts or files.

Payments

Purchases on the App Store and Google Play are handled by Apple and Google; we receive only your subscription status. Purchases on this website are handled by our payment provider, which processes your card or UPI details. We never see or store full payment details.

Third parties

We use a subscription service (RevenueCat) to confirm App Store and Google Play purchases, and payment providers for website purchases. If you turn on the weather feature, the approximate coordinates of the place you pick are sent to Open-Meteo, and nothing else.

Tracking and ads

Dustora shows no ads and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and subscription records while your account is active and as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it by writing to dustora@1morecode.com.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
